Well I thought it was going to pop like popcorn but no but my hamster love it since mine are always picky about treats I finally found something that like besides doughnuts treats and danish treats thanks totally appreciate it and totally worth itOur hamster loves these. They are small/cute and make a nice enrichment/treat.Caught a field mouse last December and didn't want to throw him out in the snow to die. Got a cage and named him Alfredo. He loves these little corn cobs. Cleans the corn off in a few minutes and stores them. Kids enjoy watching him make light work of these. They are about 3 inches long.Our hamster loves these!!!!!! He comes out of his hut to munch on these as soon as we put them in his cage.Helps boredom. He loves taking them apart.Hamster loved it but doesn't pop well....he just ate it right off the cob and enjoyed it.I got these for my rats to stimulate boredom. They love these and they keep them entertained. I think they are a little pricey so I only give them each 1 a week when I clean the cage. They also come with some of the kernels fallen off (kinda of alot). Not sure how preventable that is however. But I recommend these, I'll continue to buy unless I find a better deal.I wasn’t sure if my hamster would like this but she loves it.
