Not easy to use on small dogs. There’s a big, bulky seam. It gets in the way and might hurt their gums if you’re not careful. I had to fold it over as to not hurt my dogs gums (10lbs. & 6 lbs.) and to reach their teeth. Very awkward to use that way.I’m sure it’s just fine for large dogs.Would be a better product if it was sewn inside out, with the seam towards the user’s finger.I have one dog absolutely loves getting teeth brushed. The others tolerate using these.I think the finger pads are a good idea, but they just don't work for my 4 lb chihuahua's tiny mouth. I'd be better off wrapping gauze around my finger. It feels like the seal where the front of the pad and the back meet might feel uncomfortable also. If I had a bigger dog, then I would use these.To clean teethEasy to useI like using these. Thought this would be a great alternative way to do it since you use it over your finger and have more control wiping his teeth in areas you can’t get to with the toothbrush. The idea seems okay but these have edges which are a bit sharp that it cuts and irritates my dogs gums and mouth. Plus when these get wet by your dogs saliva or the toothpaste, it just smears over the teeth instead of actually help brush it. I decided to use this for cleaning my dogs ears and in-between his pawsThey are very helpful to help brash her teeth because she does not like the toothbrush.
