I thought this was super cute. It had a decent weight to it and it felt pretty durable so I was really excited to give it to my pup. It lasted less than 10 minutes. The egg part was solid and not phased buly her play, but the poor dinosaur part was demolished. That part was a softer material and she went through it. I had to throw it away. It could be my dog is really tough on her toys so if yours is a chewer but not super tough this could be the right one for them.This thing really works. Our dog plays and chews (as best she could) for long periods of time. Clever and effective way to occupy your dog while maintaining healthy teeth.This toy would be a lot better if the egg part were made out of a Benebone type of material but it isn’t. It is a plastic (like a toy material plastic) and the dogs don’t like that. They don’t really play with the toy because of it. Otherwise, it would be great. The dinosaur is a durable but soft and playable material and the rope is great.Still one of her favorites even though headlessLoves it. Sturdy enough that he has not destroyed it yet.These are absolutely not chew proof, my dog got the head off very quickly and swallowed it. What followed was 2 days of vomiting, a reaction to the toxic materials an emergency vet visit and $2,300 in bills. I kept the head as a reminder to be more careful listening to “chew proof” claims. My pet could have died from this toxic toy.That it did not lastI returned it. She wouldn't play with it.Can't comment on longjevity only had it a couple of days. My rough collie had the tail chewed off 5 minutes after I have him it. The strands were all over the carpet. I took them away before he choked on them. The rest of it appears sturdy enough.Unfortunately my small dog ( dachshund ) was able to chew the rubber parts off very quickly. I am extremely disappointed after spending so much money!It needs a more substantial rope!Didn’t last a week - became dangerously sharp
