I dont recommend for small dogs.We purchased these to help one of our pickier pups with some bad breath after trying multiple other products (water additives, gels, toothpastes, other dental treats) with more than a little protest from him. These treats, however, were gladly accepted and have been helpful in treating his bad breath and in preventing new build up. I have not noticed any lessening of existing tartar, but it is still very early. While the chews are hard enough that they do seem to help with build up, they’re much softer than other dental chews we have tried and are even manageable for our other senior pup who has few teeth left in her old age. Would definitely recommend.My dog absolutely loves these bisquits. He can't wait for one of these after he has a meal.These are his favorite treat>These biscuits are a winner in our house. My niece came to visit last month and she got into the treats. I walked in to her and the dog watching Paw Patrol and eating the bag of treats together. She would eat one and give one to the dog. They nearly emptied the bag by the time I found them. 10/10 product good for both dogs and nieces.Good product
