If you have thick and a lot of hair this may be great for you to just hold your hair back out of your face. However, it could be tighter, have slightly bigger prongs to grab the hair better, and be not as wide front to back. I would've given it a 10 if not for those 3 things. Otherwise, this is more of a dollar store product possibly even 3.99 not 6-8 but its Amazon so you get what you get. It works for now but I'm still looking!
