Worth the moneyGreat little handy Kit. Showed my friends, they bought a set each. So convenient, neat container keeps all those little bits organized, and takes up so Little SpaceWhat a great set of bits. If you dont find it here you wont find it anywhere. The red extension that goes into your driver the bits push in and lock. You have to slide the red part down to pull the bit out. So no more having bits drop out and playing hide and seek in the grass or drive.Very satisfied with this very compact and handy tool kit.Good for the houseIt's not so much a problem as it is an obstacle for certain jobs. I love that set because the ratcheting part is like a "T" that is easy for me to grip when I'm trying to tighten or loosen a screw or bolt. The problem is that some jobs I've tried to use it for just didn't have the space for the "T" top of that set. Enter THIS set and it allows me to get into areas where I can't with the other set. As an example, I put together a metal divider for outside - it is really pretty, but the three panels had to be screwed/bolted onto the upright pieces making a screen divider that is about six feet tall. Each panel has three screws/bolts per side. The problem is that the screw head had to be on the outside and the bolt had to be screwed down inside a lip of about an inch (think of it more like a "U" with the bolt at the bottom of the "U." Except that it wasn't really a "U" as one side of that space is the actual panel. The "T" handle couldn't even handle just holding the bolt in place while I tightened the screw! This set, the ratchet "head" allowed me to get in that small, cramped space and tighten the bolts on - 3 on each side, 4 panels so 24 bolts/screws. Made a problem job easier to complete, for sure.Speaking for myself, there is a certain satisfaction, almost an excitement, about getting a set of tools that may SEEM to be nothing more than a tool that I already have but has its own "toolinality". This is a great set! It covers many bases, is inexpensive, compact, well designed and packaged and is convenient to use. For some reason, I like to rotate tools that I have. I'll use one set one day, and another set on another day. That's just the way that I am put together. But don't get me wrong. This is not just a toy that I like HAVING. Not at all. It fills a niche in that I have found some applications where this set seems to be the right set, while others that I have just don't quite fill the bill. So, with this set you can have a "toy" that is a great little tool set and acts accordingly. It's super small and compact, but has most everything I need! I fly a paramotor and have to do regular maintenance on the 2-stroke engine. While this is a 1/4" ratchet, there are a lot of metric sockets, which is a big reason why I got it -- my motor is made, well, not in the US so pretty much every other country is metric. C'mon USA, get with the world here! The ratchet is by no means a SnapOn but for the price it works great. I've put on and removed my prop, tightened a few hex bolts, and unscrewed a few things as well. The fact that it is like a ratcheting screwdriver is also super handy! It takes a little bit to get used to the opening and sliding function to get all the bits, but you get used to it. I'm really happy with this little kit. When I'm flying cross country, I'll be taking just the bits and sockets I need in case I need to do some repair "in the field." Like literally standing in a field where I had an emergency landing!
