I use it as a toothpaste and then I use it to massage my gums. After I brush, I place a small amount of this toothpaste on my finger and gently massage my gums in a circular motion and then rinse.This toothpaste is very gentle on my teeth and gums. I have used this brand for over one year and my Gingivitus has really improved. My gums went from red to a healthy pink...I believe it is because of this toothpaste with Tea Tree Oil in it.Also, I water floss 2 times per day and brush at least 2 to 3 times daily.This toothpaste does not irritate my teeth as regular toothpaste does and I like the clean fresh taste.One more thing...my teeth look whiter but this could be that I also place a bit of baking soda on my brush with this as the combo has naturally whitened my teeth with no side effects.Because of the improvement in my teeth after using this, I am going to continue to buy this toothpaste again and again. I highly recommend this toothpaste.I wish it had more polishing grit its almost too smooth. looking for non-fluoride toothpaste this one makes due with tea trea oil, a great antibacterial. taste is minty and good. It beat out 3 other brands so far. I started using it when my dentist saw some adverse changes in my gums. Within 6 months of using this my gums were back to a healthy condition.
