Ive used many many of these- if you make sure the dog cannot take it and tear it up on their own, they will last. Train them to catch/fetch and then promptly return it to you...it will last. But, for my dogs, the 'flippy' is like Skrat and his acorn...so occasional one will get torn up. Our last dog would rip out the center fabric. The current one likes to chop on the black outer stiffening bandRuby, an 8mnth old Border Heeler is a pro- daily sessions on grass, then daily pool 'work'. Sit on the diving board, loft it- she will grab it 7 -8 feet above the water! As a Frisbee aficionado, this has really good loft and control. The structure lets air into the disc, giving it nice dynamics. Ive had other soft frisbees, they dont cut it. This one we can loft 200+ feet - hice and flat flight, our other soft frisbees just twist over and crash. We used to buy them a dozen at a time, wrapped up for Christmas. Last a year or two. Daily use, 30-90 minutes.Soft to protect their teeth and mouths.Oh in terms of stuff coming apart and the dog eating stuff.... they are dogs. they eat EVERYTHING. Just the other day I caught her coming from the back pasture with a hind leg from a deer carcass. Anything in that flippy will go right on though!I have 2 GSDs who like to chew through everything. They've chewed through Nerf frisbees, Chuck-It frisbees, and even Chuck-It balls. I was looking for affordable replacement frisbees when I saw these and decided to try them out. I'm glad I did. They hold their shape well, fly well, and have managed to withstand 2 chew monsters. The only downside is that, with my dogs, they become drenched in dog saliva after about 15-20 minutes of play.Only had it for 1 day but so far my dog loves it! She will catch it for as long as you throw it for her. Great exercise for sure! I don’t let her have it inside so she won’t chew on it. It’s canvas type material so she could chew it up if allowed. It flies great and she has no trouble catching it in the air. She’s a 2 year old Mountain Feist.Buy now........These things last forever. My dog knows how to tear things up and has not tore up the frisbee yet.Been over a month and there literally are no threads hangin. I throw to him daily if not multiple times per day?Buy with Confidence! These are our fav frisbees for our dogs! They fly great! After play the frisbee goes up- they are not chew proof. If only 1 dog, it’s chew proof, but our bullies use them in tug o war, so it’s not the right question to ask. But very very well loved and durable, thank goodness it’s a 5 packI've had this for a year and it is still in good condition. Other brands I've had split at the seams and the outer ring comes out. This one has withstood a growing lab for a full year so far. We've tried all different types and this one is a BIG WINNER!! We have 2 Miniature Goldendoodles who can play frisbee till they fall out (lol) and they don't like any disc but these. They are soft on their mouths, lightweight, fly well and can be used on land and water. We have bought 6 now and will always have backups in the doggie closet! My female likes to chew on the nylon wrapped edges so it eventually frays (but that's no fault of the manufacturer) and it still flies like a champ ...even with 1/4 of the edge all tattered! They wash up easily, even in the top rack of the dishwasher. I've shared the good news of these with many dog owning friends and absolutely everyone loves them as much as we do! They are more expensive just about everywhere else so thanks Amazon Prime for saving me money, delivering to my door and keeping my babies happy!!! BIG WIN!!!Appreciate all dogs differ but had high hopes given the reviews and am disappointed. After three days' use by a border collie teen (for about 20mins each day of being thrown and retrieved, not left to chew) this is starting to look worn. On the plus side it flies better than expected, especially with the wind behind it, and the pup loves it.The fabric coating is wearing away and it punctures very easily.Definitely a dry weather frisbee - soaks up all mud, moisture from grass and saliva and this affects how it flies as well as being unpleasant to handle - don't mind a bit of muck but this attracts everything.Think it's expensive for what it is as I can't see it lasting too long.Without doubt my dogs favourite possession! We have had several (I have lost a few with exceptionally bad throwing over fences etc)It flies very well, floats in water and is soft for the dog to catch. We only use it on walks for retrieving because it wouldn’t stand up to general chewing plus my dog likes the feeling of grabbing grass through it and I’d rather no holes in my lawn. They do eventually after a lot of use get a hole in the middle (probably caused by my dogs desire to pull up grass with it) but they still fly with a hole and it doesn’t reduce my dogs fun with it.This has to be the best frisbee I have ever bought. I bought it for the dog but the grandchildren played ages with it while we were glamping. It flies extremely well and very easy to control. Lightweight and easy to handle. The dog did get a look in and she liked it too. Best to use in a field because it does fly a long way. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.When it arrived I didn't think it would fly too well, but it turns out it's stronger and more stable than a conservative government. My dog is a strong chewer, and he couldn't put a dent in the canvas. There were a couple of negatives though:1. It came in a pink/red colour, which is lovely for us humans but can be harder to see for dogs. A blue or yellow one may have been better in the long grass.2. Since it is fabric, it really holds the moisture. Rain, mud and saliva all penetrate the canvas fully, and take a while to dry out after hosing it off.All in all, a great alternative to hard plastic or floppy rubber, and probably the best fetching toy for strong chewers.Worked fine as a Frisbee and ok as a tug toy, but not for strong chewers. Our lab tore it to shreds over the course of about one month, but to be fair, he is a monster
