I gave the item four stars because one of the squeakers is already silent. However, my super chewer pup loves the toy and his teeth look great. Thankful there was a squeaker on each side. I also like that the toy comes with a little cleaning brush to get in all the nooks and crannies after using any type of approved toothpaste or treat.Good quality. It is as advertised but alas our dog thinks it’s a toy to be thrown for fetch and has no interest in chewing on it to brush her teeth. I’m sure coating it with a tasty food would get most dogs to chew it but ours will not.We were optimistic about this toothbrush. It looks very durable. It was too big for our dog. I wish it came in a smaller version.My agressive chewer tore this in half in a few hours. Nice soft material that surely scrubs teeth. Just not tough enough for a 9 month old mini Whoodle.I love this item. My dog hates having her teeth brushed. She loves this. I put a thin coat with doggy peanut butter or baby food, but some liquid toothpaste on it then add a few dry treats.. She chews on this bone up to 15 minutes per day. Her teeth are so clean and her gums are healthy.My dog wouldn't touch it so will return. Seems nice and sturdy but too big for a small or small-mouthed dog. 30lbs up would probably work.My pup is a power chewer so I was going on a limb buying this for him. But he’s had it almost a month and it’s his favorite toy! He chews the heck out of it and it looks new still. I bought a beef flavored dental paste to use with it and he loves it! I highly recommend this toy to anyone with a power chewerI was hoping it would do the tooth cleaning job that is desperately needed but my dog didn’t seem interested in it. She played with it and chewed on it for a few minutes and then lost interest. She doesn’t like peanut butter, so there was no point in trying to entice her with that. I may get some dog toothpaste and see if that does the trick.
