The hair color matches closely and looks natural, but since it is synthetic hair, it has an unnatural shine to it. The biggest downfall to this product is that the hair does not cover the plastic headband underneath and unless you wear it very far to the back of your scalp, the headband is tilted and the underside of it shows, making it more noticeable. I likely will not end up using this product do to that.Headband is so hard and it stands up too high
