This SENQI (BSZ002) is as close as you can get to a factory fit bike stem replacement for an old Dahon Curve D3. It was super-easy to install for me as a novice bike repair dad and folding bike newbie. Before I go on about how happy I am about the results and benefits of this third-party replacement part, I must emphasize that THE BSZ002's HANDLEBAR FOLDS TO THE OPPOSITE SIDE (see photo) of the bike than the original bike stem. After the bike is initially folded, the SENQI (after it's properly released) folds down to the front wheel side instead of the crank side of the big. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT A DEALBREAKER FOR ME! it only adds less than few inches to the width. It's barely noticeable to me, fits into a generic bike bag, and I'm "good to go" for bus rides, BART, and Amtrak. The SENQI BSZ002 is about a third of the price than an OEM stem (if you can even find one), and you don't have to talk to "that bike store guy" that's going to try to sell you a new 'folder with an electric motor for 2k! It feels just as sturdy and lightweight as the original aluminum set with nearly the same extension and feel. The folding clamp system is larger (and better in my opinion), and the plastic safety latch is totally different (not quite as good as the original), otherwise it's almost an exact match (see photo). I was even able to swap out the thumb clamps for the handlebars and stem extension with my throwback vintage set that came with the bike!
