The thing about frisbee with your pup, is that it’s a 50% 50% relationship. I’d tried other frisbees with my King Charles Spaniel. She was constantly catching the disc about 1 out of 10 times. The VERY night I tried this one with her, she was catching it over and over again. She’s now catching 6 out of 7 throws, because this things just flies like it’s supposed to. What a rush it is when your pup jumps up and snatches this out of the air. I guess this is my hobby now. AND I LOVE IT! (So does Daphne)This is my dog’s favorite toy and the one him and I can sync well to catch in the air without hurting him.Bad thing is he loves it so much, he chews it and it doesn’t last but a few days. Our dog is obsessed with frisbees. If she sees a frisbee nothing else around her matters. We love Chuck It products and thought the size of this would be perfect for indoors and it totally was. I say was because we turned our back and with in a few seconds our dog chewed it to shreds. So if your dog isn’t a chewer this would be great size to throw in a backpack and take on the go or use indoors. While it last we loved it and so did our dog.My Golden Retriever is obsessed with this!! I have other types of Frisbees and he ignores them. This is his beloved toy. I pull out this frisbee and he loses his mind with joy. Soft so it won't cut his gums or hurt him when he bites on it.It's a throw toy. NOT a chew or tugawar toy. It won't last with that kind of mistreatment.Bought a second one since he loves this one so much.My 6 year old boxer loves to chase and catch this frisbee but he shreds one every couple of months. He doesn’t like to let lose of the frisbee and we end up playing tug ‘o war. Consequently, his teeth rip the fabric when I try to get it from him.But this frisbee does fly really well.Likes: Construction is fabric and gentle on dog's teeth and gums. Easy to toss and easy for pet to catch.Dislikes: NonePuppy's favorite toy. Round rubber ring is holding up alright to chewing but is sure to give out eventually. Worth the purchase. My cavapoo’s not a big chewer but does like to chew on the soft sides of these. I have 2 and the oldest one has chew holes in the blue area and still really fly’s great! I have the small. Not worried about her teeth, nose, mouth gums or any part of her getting hurt when she tries to catch it.I have one for the park and one for inside the house which is great for rainy or cold days and can’t ruin anything g if I through it badly. The puppy loves this one (she has three frisbees because she’s spoilt) because she can actually catch it. It really is flighty so the man-child has scaled several hedges and fences to retrieve it when it has suddenly been stolen by the wind. Seems durable as the mega-chewer puppy hasn’t yet destroyed it.I loved throwing this frisbee as it flies so well however my Dutch Hurder has managed to tear it apart after only a few days of supervised play. He likes to rip the material sides and pull out the soft sponge inside the edges. Sadly it's now in the bin and we're trying out the Kong and Trixie frisbees which already are lasting better.I've been buying these for my Border Collies for years because once you have had to pay for dog dental work made necessary by a hard plastic flying disc, you won't quibble about the price of these. There have been comments about durability. First of all, these are not chewing toys. They won't last but minutes if they are used as a chew toy. The disc in the picture was bought at the end of May and I have retired it today near the end of August. It could have gone another couple of weeks by trimming some of the soft plastic that forms the outer ring but 3 months is pretty good.My Border Collies get trained on these for 10 to 15 minutes once every two to three days. The discs fly amazingly well with a good tail or quartering wind and the dogs get a good high speed workout. The damage comes from the violent Terrier like rat killing shake that Border Collies give it once the disc has been caught. But the dogs are trained never to out and out chew them.Because they are made of fabric they perform well, and safely, for the dog through the winter. Minus 20 celsius is not uncommon where we live.Years ago these same discs used to have a hard transparent tube forming the outer ring. That ring would inevitably come apart and no amount of gluing would hold it together. The disc was pretty useless at that point. Because that ring is now made of a soft foam like substance, bits that come out through the edging from normal use can be trimmed off and the disc can continue flying, with substantial amounts of it removed.I don't mind spending $10 or so dollars for three months of use per dog if it means I can avoid the crippling cost of dog dental work. And as I said, this is a really well flying disc that helps greatly with herding training.I bought this to play with my dog on the field and water as it floats. It flys very well, it offer a little bit more of floating in the air, especially with the wind, so if you want to get your dog to catch it in the air, this is the one to buy. I like it a lot, it is a lots of fun to play with your dog with a frisbee. But with this frisbee, you really need to keep an eye on how your dog play with it after they catch it. If even a slight chance you dog will chew it, it won't last too long. Don't ever let them play tug of war with the other dog, what I mean is you really have to stop your dog play with it, once you sense it they might play tug of war with other dog, because it will rip apart.Overall, I do really like it, you just really need to supervised how they play.I really like this because it floats, my dog has lost 2 fling a rings in ponds and is beside himself each time. This floats really nicely and my dog loves it. It flies well, however because it's so light, when the wind catches it it suddenly blows off in another direction. My dog is getting the hang of catching it now, although yesterday he tried to turn in midair when it changed direction and landed hard on his back and hind legs, luckily didn't hurt himself, but I wouldn't use this product in windy conditions as I don't think it's safe for my dog.
