Sometimes the right tool for the job makes all the difference and these are definitely no exception. For weeds with a large surface area in particular, these pullers do a great job at latching on and making quick work of them compared to hand pulling. The construction quality is good, as well as the metal used and the soldered-on tool end. The tool end is not particularly edge-sharp on either end for use with cutting, and I could see some benefit to sharpening the edger side of the tool for certain tasks. But for gripping, pulling, and scraping weeds out this does the job. My only critique is the end of the handle could use a cap to help keep dirt out of it. This is minor however and is easy to dump out if dirt does get in the handle or solve at home with some tape.
