Works well for meneeded to replace my range finder pouch because it was literally falling apart at the seams in addition, the velcro had started to fray. I was impressed as soon as I opened it, and after wearing it for a round I am happy with my purchase.I like to wear the rangefinder on my side hip while golfing. I find it the most convenient for use and it doesn't get in the way. I was also worried about using the magnet to attach to the cart, because I know I would forget it one day after a long round. My fears were justified when my golf bud did that very thing just a few weeks ago. Anyhow, it's a great pouch. There is nothing better than a magnetic closure that secures well.
